· Medium pressure centrifugal fans

Fans are considered of medium pressure when static pressure increment they give is enclosed between 200 and 800 mm.W.G.

The fans in this series move fluid flows which can fluctuate within ample margins.

Wheels in this group have blades of intermediate width, and the ratio of the air inlet diameter to the impeller diameter oscillates between 0,35 and 0,65.
The shape of the impellers in this group depends upon the nature of the fluids they handle: Backward curved blades, radial blades with or without closing side plate, flat backward inclined blades or airfoil blades are used.

Medium pressure impellers built by GRUBER HERMANOS can exceed 4 m in diameter. Those in the photographs have backward curved blades and are designed to operate with efficiency of around 88%.
